Disagree with everyone who folds washcloths into triangles for guests

I've noticed a lot of people in this group fold hand towels and washcloths into little triangles like they're napkins at a fancy restaurant. To me that's just wrong for a bathroom setting. My aunt does this every time she visits and leaves the guest towel folded into a perfect point, but then you have to unfold it completely to actually dry your hands, which defeats the purpose of having it ready. The triangle fold looks nice for a photo but if you're actually using the towel day to day, a simple three-panel fold or a rolled method keeps it accessible and neat without the extra steps. I've tested both ways in my own bathroom over the last month, and the rolled towels get used more often while the triangle ones just sit there looking pretty. Does anyone else think the triangle fold is more for display than function, or am I missing something practical about it?

Triangle folds are decoration, not a towel. Basically the bathroom equivalent of a tied mint on a pillow. Function wins every time unless you're staging a magazine shoot.
