Warning: Those cheap LED shop lights from the hardware store are a fire hazard waiting to happen
I grabbed a 4-pack for $30 at Ollie's to light up my workbench area in the garage. After about 2 months, one of them started flickering and making a buzzing noise. I pulled it down and the plastic end cap was actually melted and the wiring was exposed. Saved myself a possible fire by catching it early. Has anyone else dealt with those bargain bin lights crapping out like that?

Tossed mine in the trash after the same thing happened. Plastic melted right off the driver board. Company didn't care either. Told me it was "normal wear and tear." Normal wear doesn't include risk of burning your house down. Stick to name brand stuff or wire your own fixtures. Cheap LEDs are just cheap.
