Rant: My lawyer told me something about SSDI and case backlogs that hit different
Talked to my lawyer last week, he said the local SSA office in Portland has a 14 month wait just to get an initial decision, not even counting appeals. It made me rethink calling them every week for updates, guess I was just adding to the pile. Has anyone else's lawyer given you a reality check like that?
