My ALJs hearing went from 'we'll review the records' to a full denial in 3 weeks flat
I had my hearing back in March and the judge seemed pretty reasonable, asked good questions about my neuropathy and how it affects my daily life. Then I got the denial letter exactly 21 days later with no real explanation other than 'not fully favorable.' Has anyone else seen a judge seem interested but then turn around and deny that fast?
Well, that sounds about right unfortunately. I think the judge had already made up their mind before you even walked in. Probably just going through the motions to make it look fair. I had a similar thing happen with my back condition. The judge nodded along to everything I said and even asked follow up questions. Then bam, denial 18 days later. I guess I should take it as a compliment that they thought I was a good actor. Maybe they thought I was auditioning for a role as a disabled person and gave me a thumbs down.
