Found a free online portal that sped up my SSDI reconsideration
I stumbled on the SSA's 'disability claims processing portal' after waiting 8 months for my first denial and noticed you can upload medical records directly there (no more faxing). Has anyone else used this to cut down the back and forth with DDS?
I used to think that portal was just another government website that wouldn't actually change anything, but uploading my records directly totally proved me wrong. It cut out all the faxing and lost document excuses DDS kept giving me, and I got a decision in about three months after that. Definitely a game changer for how the process actually moves.
