Was dead set against using a dremel for cutting cans, but a guy at the hardware store said just get a cheap one and use a cutting wheel on low speed
Tried it on a Fanta can last night and the edges were way cleaner than my old snips, no jagged bits. Anyone else switch tools and never look back?

Agreed completely. I bought a cheap Dremel maybe five years ago for a different project and now I use it for almost every metal cutting job I have. The cutting wheels wear down fast but they're cheap to replace, so that's not a big deal. The real trick is keeping the speed low and letting the tool do the work instead of pushing hard. I've cut up dozens of cans for various projects and the edges come out smooth enough that I rarely need to file them down afterwards. Snips always left little burrs that caught on everything, so I'm glad I made the switch when I did.
