Finally finished that Dr Pepper flower sculpture I started 2 months ago

It took me like 7 different tries to get the petals to curve right without tearing... ended up using a ballpoint pen to roll the edges. Has anyone else found a random tool that just works better than the actual ones you can buy?

It's wild how the best tools are never the ones labeled for the job. I've noticed that with a lot of stuff, like using a butter knife to get stubborn lids off because it has that little point. For craft stuff, bobby pins are my go-to for detail work, especially getting glue into tight spots. Sometimes the random stuff just has the right ergonomics or edge, I guess because it wasn't designed to be "safe" for a specific task.

Ngl, I actually like using the right tool for the job and specialty stuff usually works better for me.
