My 20 year old slow cooker finally gave up mid chili last Tuesday

The knob just snapped off in my hand while I was stirring, so I had to finish cooking it in a stockpot on the stove for the last 3 hours, and it actually came out fine, but has anyone found a replacement part that fits those vintage Rival models?

Is three hours of stove-top chili really worth tracking down a vintage appliance part? Sounds like it worked fine without the slow cooker, so maybe you just solved your own problem.
