Had to pick between BBQ chicken or chili for a potluck, went with the wrong one
So last Sunday I had to decide between throwing some chicken breasts in my slow cooker with BBQ sauce or doing a classic ground beef chili for a work potluck. I went with the chili because I thought it would feed more people, but the crock pot lid broke when I was carrying it to the car and half of it spilled on my front seat. The BBQ chicken wouldve been way easier to transport lol. Anyone else have a slow cooker disaster right before an event?

Switched to BBQ chicken thighs for the next potluck after my chili disaster - they stay together way better in the crock pot and barely spill at all. Just throw them in with some sweet baby rays on low for a few hours and they come out perfect every time. Saved me from having to scrub barbecue sauce out of my car upholstery forever.
