After weeks of trial and error, I discovered that chilling my pillowcase makes all the difference for summer sleep!

Popping my pillowcase in the freezer for a bit before bed has been a total lifesaver for those sweltering evenings!

Phoenix summers forced me to get creative. I swapped to linen sheets and a buckwheat hull pillow, which dissipates heat way better than memory foam. The pillowcase trick is good in a pinch, but those changes made a permanent difference for me.

@henderson.mila knows what's up. Phoenix summers are relentless. Linen sheets changed everything for me too. Buckwheat pillows dissipate heat like nothing else. Permanent fixes over temporary tricks any day.

Seriously, a buckwheat hull pillow? That sounds like sleeping on a bag of gravel! Honestly, I tried one years ago and it was so noisy every time I moved. Ngl, the heat dissipation might be great, but I couldn't get past the crunching sounds. Tbh, I switched back to a cooling gel pillow that works almost as well without the noise. Maybe they've improved since then, but I'm still skeptical. How do you deal with the constant rustling?
