My hidden love for restoring old fishing lures keeps growing

Last month I dug out a box of my granddad's old lures from the 1970s, all rusted hooks and chipped paint. I spent about 12 hours over two weekends sanding, repainting, and replacing hooks on maybe 15 of them. Now I have a shelf full of vintage Rapalas and Heddon lures I can't even use because they look too nice. Has anyone else gotten hooked on fixing up old gear just for the fun of it?

Actually found a workaround that helped me out a ton. I ended up running the installer in compatibility mode and it just clicked right on. Worth a shot if you're stuck like I was!
