Watched a guy lose half his fish at a frag swap because he didn't acclimate them right

I was at the Reef-a-Palooza swap in Orlando last fall and saw this dude dump a bag of anthias straight into his tank without even floating them. Within 15 minutes two were on the bottom breathing heavy and the third was dead. It was a $75 lesson I took right back home with me. Now I always tell people the drip method matters more than any fancy equipment you can buy. Have you ever seen someone ruin good stock by rushing the setup like that?

Oh man, nothing says "I hate money" like skipping a 30 minute drip acclimation. RIP to those anthias, they deserved better than a rapid fire stress test.

Saw a buddy do the same thing with a batch of designer clowns he drove two hours to pick up. He just dumped the bag in and they hit the new water like a brick wall. Lost three out of five before he even got his drip line set up.
