I found Chrono Trigger for $5 at a flea market (the seller just wanted it gone), but now I'm wondering if I should have said something. Thoughts?

WHAT. Five bucks? That's honestly the craziest flea market find I've ever heard of. Tbh that cartridge alone is worth well over a hundred dollars easy. I would have just paid and walked away before the seller realized their mistake. No way I'd say anything, that's their fault for not checking. You got a once in a lifetime deal, just enjoy it.

See where you're coming from, but gotta disagree. Making a quick buck feels good until you remember the person you got it from. Once bought a box of old baseball cards from a garage sale for ten dollars. The guy had no clue there was a rookie card in there worth way more. Told him about it, he was shocked but thankful. That good feeling lasted longer than the money would have. Some things are just worth more than a deal.

Picked up a first edition Stephen King novel for a dollar at a library sale last year. The volunteer running it said they were just clearing space for new donations. In cases like that, telling them it's worth hundreds feels more like ruining their system than being honest. They got what they wanted, a cleared shelf, and I got a steal without any guilt.

Speaking up used to be my default, until I got a sealed copy of Final Fantasy III for pocket change. The seller was moving and needed space, not money. @sethadams has a point about sellers not checking values. Your conscience is clear, just enjoy the game.
