The night I rolled 4 natural 1s in a row and turned it into a party trick
Back when I first started D&D, I thought a bad session meant the game was ruined. Then last month during a boss fight in Phandalin, my bard rolled 4 nat 1s in a row trying to charm a dragon. Instead of getting mad, I leaned into it and had my guy accidentally challenge the dragon to a dance-off, which the whole table loved and we still joke about it. Anyone else got a story where a terrible roll made the game way more fun?
