Almost rage quit D&D after my wizard failed three spell saves in a row
Last Friday night I was playing my level 5 wizard and we were facing this big ooze monster. I rolled a 2, then a 1, then another 2 trying to get a saving throw. My DM just looked at me with this pity face. Instead of dying though, I grabbed a jar of lamp oil from my pack and threw it onto the ooze while our fighter lit it up. Turned into a huge fireball that actually made the fight way cooler than if my spells worked. Has anyone else had a string of failures that accidentally made a better story?

Yeah failure can totally make the best moments. That lamp oil idea was genius though, turned a bad luck streak into something epic. Nothing makes a game memorable like pulling a win out of pure desperation.
