That guy who refused to use a torque wrench on his brake calipers

Met a dude at a junkyard last spring who was swapping brakes on a '92 Civic with just a crescent wrench and a screwdriver, and when I asked about torque specs he just laughed and said 'I just tighten em til they feel right.' Still wondering if his wheels fell off on the highway or what.

Did he at least check the lug nuts after the test drive?

Figured he was probably too busy revving the engine to bother with that. Lug nuts are for responsible people, not adrenaline junkies who treat test drives like qualifying laps. Honestly though, if the car doesn't shake itself apart on the way back, they're probably fine. Just don't let the dealership manager see you doing donuts in the parking lot afterwards. Classic case of test drive enthusiasm versus actual car maintenance.
