Why does my local joint keep putting pineapple on savory pizzas
Ordered a pepperoni and mushroom pie from Tony's on Main Street last Friday and they threw pineapple on it by mistake, then argued with me that it's fine because sweet and salty works, but I paid $18 for something I couldn't even eat half of, has anyone else had a shop just ignore your topping request like that?

Oh man, "sweet and salty works" - that's exactly what my uncle says every Thanksgiving when he dumps marshmallows on the sweet potatoes. I'm the idiot who once ordered a plain cheese pizza from a place and got pineapple because the guy at the counter said "you looked like someone who'd enjoy a surprise." I didn't enjoy it, and I learned to always watch them write the ticket. Sounds like Tony's needs to learn that when someone asks for pepperoni and mushrooms, they don't get to play chef with your $18.

Oh man, that pizza guy had some nerve deciding what you wanted like that... I read somewhere that restaurants mess up orders more often when they try to "improve" things instead of just following the ticket. Tony's probably thinks they're being creative, but nobody's paying eighteen bucks for a surprise.
