My little cousin called pineapple pizza 'gourmet' and now I'm confused

My 12 year old cousin said pineapple on pizza is 'gourmet' because she had it at a fancy place in Portland last month that put prosciutto and balsamic on top too. She made me try a bite and honestly it wasn't that bad. Is this how the pineapple revolution starts or am I just getting old?

Had the same thing happen with a fancy margherita pizza in Brooklyn, totally changed my mind on basil.

Used to be one of those people who rolled their eyes at pineapple pizza. Thought it was a weird hill to die on but I died on it anyway. Then a friend ordered one with jalapeno and bacon and I had to admit it actually worked. Now my go to is pineapple, ham, and extra cheese. Guess I'm part of the problem now.
