Mushrooms on pizza are actually better than pepperoni and I have proof

I ordered a big pizza spread for a party last Saturday, thinking pepperoni was the safe bet for everyone. But then my buddy Dave grabbed the last slice of mushroom before I could get to it and said it was the best one. I tried a mushroom slice later and honestly the texture and flavor just worked better with the cheese and sauce. Has anyone else switched from pepperoni to mushrooms after a blind taste test?

What do you mean by blind taste test, was it cold or fresh out of the oven?

Yo that's actually a good question haha. I remember this one time my buddy brought over some cookies his grandma made and we did a blind test on them like 3 hours later when they were totally cold. Honestly they were still pretty good but definitely not the same as when they're fresh. I feel like with most baked stuff you gotta test it while it's still warm to really know what you're working with. Cold cookies just hit different you know?
