Hot take: I heard a 5 year old say pineapple on pizza is "yucky" and it made me rethink everything
Last Sunday at a Little Caesars in Portland, this kid next to me in line told his mom pineapple pizza is for babies. I eat Hawaiian all the time and suddenly felt super judged by a kindergartner. It got me wondering why we let other people's opinions about toppings get in our heads so much. Has anyone else ever had a random comment make you question your go to pizza order?

Man, I used to be one of those people who looked down on pineapple pizza. I remember in my early 20s I'd make jokes about it with my buddies, calling it a crime against Italian food or whatever. Then I had a slice at a party where the guy had also put jalapenos and bacon on it, and it totally clicked for me. The sweet and salty thing really works if you balance it right, and now I actively order it. So hearing a five-year-old just kill it with a simple "yucky" kind of takes me back to how I used to be. Kids dont overthink things, they just say how they feel, and that honesty can make you realize you were the one missing out.
