Unpopular opinion: that expensive cleaning mitt was actually worth it
I spent $22 on a microfiber cleaning mitt for my car and thought I got scammed. Used it for the first time last weekend on my dusty sedan. The thing picked up all the grime without scratching like my old sponge did. Now I kinda get why people pay more for decent detailing stuff. Anyone else have a cleaning tool they swore was nonsense but ended up loving?

Honestly, a $22 mitt doesn't sound that crazy to me unless you're just hosing down a beater. I still use a $5 rag on my truck and it works fine, but then again I don't baby the paint. Your mileage may vary on that whole "no scratches" claim too - could be you just got lucky with the first wash.
