Finally got my derpy cat mid-yawn and it looks like a demon
Was at the vet clinic on Elm Street yesterday trying to get a cute shot of Mochi in the waiting room and instead caught her mid-yawn with her tongue all curled and eyes half shut. Has anyone else captured a pet fail that gets worse the longer you look at it?

Yep, I've got about fifteen of those on my phone right now. The trick is to delete them fast before they end up on a "cursed cat pics" site somewhere. Mochi sounds like she's got the same talent as my cat Midnight - she can go from cute to eldritch horror in a split second. One thing that worked for me was switching to burst mode and holding the phone steady. That way you can scroll through the shots and delete the demon ones before they haunt your camera roll. Also, try using a treat to get her looking at the lens with her mouth closed. Works about half the time for me.
