Used to pile my groceries on the counter, now I bag them as I shop
For years I'd just throw everything in the cart and deal with bagging at the register, which always ended with crushed bread and a 10-minute hold-up. Then last month at the Kroger on 3rd Street, I started bagging heavy stuff first in the cart itself, like milk and canned beans, then putting lighter things on top. It sounds simple but now checkout takes maybe 2 minutes instead of 12, and my eggs never crack. Anyone else do this or am I just late to the game?
