My pug dressed as a taco bit the mailman... in character I guess

So last Halloween I dressed my pug Louie up as a taco with the little felt lettuce and everything. He was standing on the porch while I handed out candy and the mailman walked up with a package... Louie turned around and bit him right on the ankle. The mailman just laughed and said "guess he's a spicy taco" before handing me the box. Has anyone else had their pet's costume backfire on them like that?

I used to roll my eyes at people who put clothes on their dogs. Thought it was just for likes on Instagram or whatever. But last winter my neighbor's bulldog wore a little sweater and it actually kept him from shivering during our walks. Then this story with your spicy taco pug actually changed my whole view. Sure, the costume backfired and he bit the mailman, but the guy laughed it off and now you have a legendary story. Five years from now nobody's gonna remember the bite, they'll remember the mailman calling him a spicy taco. Maybe dressing up dogs is dumb but if it makes people smile and creates these weird little moments, I guess I'm on board now.
