Vent: The handicap spot entitlement at my grocery store is out of control
I was at the Kroger off Main Street last Tuesday and watched some lady in a giant SUV park in a handicap spot, then jog inside to grab milk. No placard, no plates, nothing. I called her out and she said she was only in there for a minute. The lot was full so someone who actually needed it had to park way out. Has anyone else dealt with people just ignoring these spots like they're premium parking?

Man, my own mom does this and I wanna crawl under the cart every time. She'll drop me off at the door, park in a handicap spot with her perfectly fine legs, and say "it's just for a second" while I'm standing there with my cane feeling like a total fraud. Last time she did it I pretended I forgot my wallet just so I could walk the extra 50 feet. Karma is gonna get us both one day I swear.

That's 50 feet of solidarity, not fraud.
