Shoutout to the minivan driver at Costco who took up four spots

I was at the Costco in Santa Clara last Saturday and saw a silver minivan parked diagonally across four empty spaces near the cart return. The guy was just sitting in the driver seat scrolling on his phone while people circled for 10 minutes looking for a spot. I snapped a photo and put it on our neighborhood Facebook group and got 40 comments in an hour. Has anyone else had a run-in with a parking lot villain who seemed to do it on purpose?

@abby_scott actually raised a good point but I think the real question is why people do that in the first place. Snapping a photo and posting it online feels more like sharing a story than actually confronting someone. I get why abby_scott asked though, calling someone out in person is harder than it sounds especially when the guy is just sitting there scrolling away. At the same time posting on Facebook does start a conversation and maybe someone who knows that driver will see it and say something. Four spots is insane though like you literally hugged a whole section of the lot just for your minivan that's next level entitlement.

Did you call him out or just post the photo online?
