Spent 3 hours at a garage sale in Akron learning that vintage tweezers make great PCB holders

Some old guy was selling his late wife's sewing stuff and showed me how he clamped circuit boards with them... way steadier than my clunky metal clips. Anyone else find weird tool crossovers like that from unexpected places?

Wait, hold on - her sewing stuff? Like she was using those big old tweezers for quilting or something? Ngl, I kinda wish I could've seen that garage sale, sounds like a goldmine for weird hacks.

I heard my neighbor mention using a old hair clip to hold a tiny screw in place while fixing his glasses. He said those spring-loaded ones work better than any tiny clamp he ever bought. Makes me think there's a whole world of stuff meant for one thing that works for something totally different. That tweezers trick sounds legit, especially if they're the vintage kind with a strong grip.
