Took me 8 months to realize I was using the wrong glue for my dollhouse furniture

I kept wondering why my miniature chairs kept falling apart after a week. I was using regular craft glue. Finally stumbled onto a woodworking forum and someone said 'try hide glue for small joints.' Now everything stays together. Has anyone else spent way too long using the wrong adhesive?

Man that's a tough one to figure out because glue is one of those things you just grab without thinking. Eight months of frustration and rebuilding tiny furniture sounds like a real patience test. At least you finally got it sorted out though, that must feel like a huge weight off your shoulders.
