Dropped $80 on a vintage camera repair kit and only used 2 tools

I picked up one of those big repair kits for old film cameras off eBay last month thinking I'd fix up a bunch of junkers I got at estate sales. Cost me $80 and it came with all these tiny screwdrivers and spanners for weird lens mounts. Turns out I only needed the smallest Phillips head and a pair of tweezers to get my Minolta working again. The rest of the kit is just sitting in my toolbox collecting dust. Anyone else buy a specialized tool set and end up using barely any of it?

Bought myself a big socket set for car repairs once and only ever used the one that fits my spark plugs. The rest of the sockets just sit there looking pretty while I pretend I'm a mechanic. My toolbox is basically a museum of things I bought for one job and never touched again. It's like I'm collecting tools for a fantasy version of myself who actually fixes everything.

Sell the unused tools individually on eBay, you'll actually make back most of your money.

@laura211 exact same boat. Sell the 3/8 set first, it sells fastest.
