Lost $40 on a neighborhood flower delivery service that never showed up
I ordered a bouquet from a new local shop called Petal Pushers two weeks ago for my mom's birthday. Paid $40 through their website after seeing a flyer on the community board. They took the money but never delivered the flowers and stopped answering calls. Turns out they were just a person working out of their basement with no real business license. Now I'm warning others to check for a physical storefront before paying. Has anyone else gotten burned by a pop up neighborhood business like this?
