The thrift store couch I dragged home has a hidden sticker with a cleaning code
Pulled an old floral loveseat off the curb in Portland last Tuesday. Peeled off the cushion cover to wash it and found a tiny tag under the foam that said 'W' for water based cleaner only. Anyone else find weird manufacturing secrets buried in their couch?

Man that's a pretty cool find actually... kind of like discovering a secret message from the couch's past. I found a similar thing on a recliner from a garage sale once, had a tag that said 'solvent cleaner only' hidden under the armrest padding. Makes you wonder how many hours someone sat on that thing before it hit the curb. Honestly it's a little wild to think about all the manufacturing details that go into a piece of furniture that nobody ever sees. Hope the cleaning code doesn't mess up your plans for the loveseat though... water based cleaner means you gotta be real careful with stains.

Right? I found a tag under my couch cushion once that said "do not sit here" and honestly that explained a lot about my life choices.
