Picked up a curb couch last fall, just now seeing the real disaster underneath
Found a decent looking green velvet couch on the curb back in October, figured a good steam clean would fix it up. After three months of it sitting in my garage, I finally flipped it over and found the bottom liner completely rotted out with mouse nests inside. Anyone else ever deal with hidden damage that only shows up way after you haul something home?

Did you check inside the cushions too? I found a whole colony of ladybugs living in a free armchair once, must have been there for months. Makes you wonder what else is lurking in the stuff people leave out.

Did you actually check the cushions though? I mean, ladybugs are one thing, but I found a family of mice living in a free couch once. That was a wild surprise.
