Spent 6 hours trying to figure out the timeline in 'Primer'

That movie Primer is a total mess with its time travel loops. I sat down with a notebook and colored pens, thinking I'd crack it in an hour. Nope, 6 hours later I had a headache and still couldn't tell which version of Aaron was which. Has anyone actually mapped out that whole thing without needing a PhD?

@theas94 that "tangled fishing line" description is spot on. Maybe I'll just watch it as noise next time.

Read a timeline breakdown someone did with color coded spreadsheets and it still looked like a tangled fishing line. Primer is basically the movie version of trying to organize your garage. You start with a clear plan, end up buried in junk, and three hours later you're sitting on the floor wondering where it all went wrong. Same energy as my buddy who tried to "quickly" rearrange his shop shelves and ended up rebuilding the whole wall. Some things just aren't meant to be simple no matter how hard you try.
