Primer vs Timecrimes - which one actually makes sense on a rewatch?
I tried watching Primer for the third time last night after someone claimed it's the most logically consistent time travel movie ever, but half the characters just vanish or start talking in loops that lose me every time. Timecrimes though seems simpler on the surface, but I swear there's a 10 minute gap in the middle where the logic breaks down if you actually map out the timeline. Which one do you think holds up better under a strict rewatch where you pause to check the timeline rules?

I read somewhere that the director of Timecrimes said it's okay if you don't catch everything on the first watch.

Honestly, I used to rewind everything until I had it all figured out... but that kinda took the fun out of it. Hearing that actually eased my mind, like it’s fine to just let the story wash over you the first time. Now I just watch it once, enjoy the ride, and save the deep dive for the second go-around.
