Paid $14 for a movie ticket and walked out with a headache from the time loop nonsense

I dropped $14 on that new indie film 'Loop Theory' at the Alamo Drafthouse last Saturday. The whole timeline jumps around so much that by the end, I couldn't tell if the main character was dead or just dreaming. You spend half the movie trying to figure out what's real and the other half regretting you didn't just stream something at home. Has anyone else sat through a movie that made you feel like you wasted both cash and brain cells?

Whoa wait, you dropped $14 on that thing? I saw the trailer and thought it was some kind of artsy time travel movie. That's wild. I actually walked out of "Loop Theory" too, but only 20 minutes in. The whole jumping around thing gave me such a headache I couldn't even tell what year it was supposed to be. Felt like the director just threw a bunch of random scenes together and called it art.

My cousin dragged me to see "Tenet" a few years back and I walked out with the same kind of headache you're describing. I spent the whole car ride home trying to explain the plot to her and just gave up halfway through. It's wild how some movies make you feel like you need a nap and a refund at the same time, right @holly_williams?
