Dropped $30 on a refurbished deep fryer for my meme remix of that old 'distracted boyfriend' format
Tried recreating the exact oil temperature from the 2017 original by using a cheap thermometer probe and ended up with the soggiest fries ever, has anyone else ruined a kitchen gadget trying to make a joke?

Oh man, I actually just watched a video where some guy tried to do the exact same thing with a toaster oven and a meme. It did not end well for his toast either.
