Silent meditation never worked for me, and I'm tired of hearing it's the only way

I've tried it so many times, but my thoughts just go wild. Some gentle background noise like a fan or soft music helps me way more, honestly.

People treat meditation like it's some life or death thing. Using a fan or music just means you found what works for you. It's not that deep.

Yeah, that makes a lot of sense. In my experience, trying to meditate in complete silence was really hard because my thoughts kept racing. Using a fan or some background noise gave my brain just enough to focus on without getting in the way. It turned something stressful into a calm part of my day. Your mileage may vary, but finding your own trick is what matters. No need to make it more complicated than that.

My fan noise is all I need most days.
