Vent: My crew won't stop flying out for equipment shows.

I say save the cash and watch online demos, but they insist on being there in person.

So what do they say they're actually getting from being there that makes it worth the cost? Wonder if it's more about the trips than the gear.

Knew a guy who claimed these trips were for research, but we all saw his photos from the hotel bar lol. Hard to justify the cost when the real action is online these days. Sometimes it's just about getting out of the office, you know?
