My grandpa swore by vinegar for cleaning windows. Told me it was the only way.
Grandpa Joe was a stubborn old guy. Grew up during the Depression. Used vinegar for everything. I tried his method for 2 months. Streaks every time. Even tried different ratios. 50/50. 70/30. Nothing worked. Finally bought a $4 bottle of spray cleaner from the dollar store. Crystal clear on first try. Felt bad but he was wrong. Has anyone else found a traditional tip that just doesn't hold up?

Oh man I feel this. My grandma swore by putting bread on cuts to stop bleeding. Tried it once as a kid and just ended up with a sticky bloody mess. Band aids work way better lol.

Ha yeah the bread thing is wild. Like who thought wheat paste was a good idea for an open wound? My aunt used to swear by butter for burns. Made sense in her head I guess since it was cold. But all it did was trap the heat in and make the burn worse. Ice pack works way better every time. Old school remedies were just people guessing and calling it wisdom.
