Probate in Ohio took 11 months longer than the court said it would
I was told probate for my dad's estate in Cuyahoga County would wrap up in 6 months, but it dragged on for 17 months because the court kept losing paperwork. The executor had to file the same inventory form three separate times before it got accepted. Has anyone else dealt with a probate court that took way longer than advertised?

You bet, the court lost my brother's paperwork twice when we were dealing with my mom's estate. They kept saying they never got the death certificate even though we had the certified mail receipt showing it was signed for. Took us 14 months total for a simple estate with no house or anything complicated. Made me wonder if they just toss things in a pile and hope nobody follows up.
