And then one of them picked up a breadcrumb ten times its size and just walked away like it was nothing.

Right? Ants are absolutely wild with their strength like that. One time I saw a whole line of them carrying a dead beetle that was probably 20 times the size of a single ant, and they just marched it right up a vertical tree trunk like it was no big deal. The way they coordinate and flip the thing around obstacles is honestly more impressive than most people give them credit for. They must use some kind of teamwork system because there's no way one ant could even lift that beetle on its own. Nature is basically a constant show of tiny little miracles happening right under our noses.
