The whole 'make sauce from anything' trend is getting out of hand
I keep seeing people blend random leftovers into a sauce and call it dinner. Last week a neighbor bragged about dumping leftover taco meat, yogurt, and hot sauce into a food processor and putting it on pasta. That's not a hack, that's a cry for help. I get being low on groceries but some things should just stay separate on your plate. Am I the only one who thinks this trend needs a hard stop?

Last Tuesday I literally saved myself from ordering takeout by blending a can of chickpeas, some tahini, lemon juice, and garlic into a sauce and tossing it with leftover chicken and rice. It was incredible and took five minutes. Your neighbor's taco meat yogurt horror story sounds bad but that's a personal choice, not a trend problem. The actual genius part is reducing food waste and spice cabinet exploration. If everything stays separate on your plate you're missing out on flavor combinations that work way better together than alone. Are you just mad that people are getting creative with what they have?

Nah, I get the creativity thing but throwing random stuff together isn't always a win. Sometimes blending things just makes a mess, not a meal.
