Unpopular opinion: dipping fries in a frosty is overrated
I tried it 3 times over 2 years, and every time the cold just made my fries soggy before I could finish them so now I just eat them separate.

I finally got it to work by changing my whole approach. I use one hand to hold the fry and the other to hold the frosty, dip each fry for less than a second then eat it right away. No letting it sit, no piling up fries on top of the cup. The key was treating the frosty like a sauce cup instead of a soup bowl. Also I found that crinkle cut fries work way better than shoestring for this. The ridges give the frosty something to cling to without soaking through. I still prefer a regular ranch or ketchup situation most days, but this method at least makes the frosty dip tolerable.

bro you gotta eat them faster lmao. i learned the hard way too. dip like 3-4 fries at a time, eat them immediately, then repeat. if you let them sit in the frosty for more than 5 seconds they turn into mush. also try dipping just the tip of the fry, don't drown the whole thing. and honestly wendy's fries are way better for this than mcdonald's cause they're thicker and hold up better. just gotta treat it like a speedrun not a leisurely meal

Is it really that serious though lol? Like I get that mushy fries suck but treating frosty dipping like a competitive sport feels a little much. You're out here setting timers and strategizing fry placement like it's a heist. Worst case scenario you end up with some soggy fries and a half melted frosty, big deal just eat it with a spoon at that point. I'm not saying don't do it right but maybe just chill and enjoy your fast food without the speedrun strats.
