That old key ring I found in a drawer actually opened my neighbor's shed door by accident
I was cleaning out my junk drawer last Saturday and found this random brass key I'd forgotten about for years, so on a whim I tried it on my neighbor's rusty shed lock and it clicked right open. We both just stood there staring at each other - has anyone else ever had a mystery key actually work on something?

Clicked right open" is such an innocent way to put it, like you just solved a puzzle instead of accidentally proving you could commit a low-stakes crime. I mean, maybe it's just me but now you basically have to burn that key in a ritual or move houses because the universe clearly wants you to break into that shed. idk, I'd be checking if there's a body in there or just a really old lawnmower. Honestly though, that's how horror movies start, but at least you got a good story out of it.

So are we all just gonna ignore that you had a key to your neighbor's shed sitting in your junk drawer for years without knowing it? That's not a coincidence, that's either fate screwing with you or your neighbor leaves a spare under the mat and you somehow grabbed it by accident. You better check that shed for a second door to another dimension or at least some really old Tupperware. I'd be painting a big red X on that key and throwing it in a river just to be safe, but maybe that's just me being dramatic.
