Debate: Should I keep the mystery key ring or toss it?
Pulled a junk drawer full of old keys and key rings last week. One key ring had no keys, just a weird plastic tag saying "Pool Access 2017." I moved here in 2020, so it's not mine. Kept it because it's kinda cool, but my wife says it's just taking up space and I should toss it. What would you do with an orphaned key tag from a past decade? Has anyone else held onto something like this and actually found a use for it later?

Dude, who actually tosses a mystery key tag though? I still have a "Ski Lodge 2013" fob from a rental cabin I stayed at like eight years ago, and the place probably doesn't even exist anymore. I just stuck it on a hook in the garage and now it's a weird conversation starter when people come over. Plus you never know when you might need a random plastic token for a key ring swap or something.

Ha yeah exactly, those weird orphaned fobs are the best random junk to keep. I've got an old gym key tag from a place that closed years ago, now it's just a good luck charm on my nightstand.
