My city's push for heat pumps is making service calls way different

I've seen a big jump in heat pump installs this year, especially in newer builds. How are you guys handling the extra training needed for these systems? Seems like every job now needs a refresher on the tech.

Our city required 40-hour courses, not just refreshers.

Yeah we had that same rule last year. I broke it into four weekend chunks, found a local community college running the course. Honestly getting it done in one go was less painful than dragging it out.

Our local tech school had a solid 5-day bootcamp, which I totally agree with @erict91 was way better than stretching it out over weeks.
