Noticing that my regular home workouts happen right after I log off for the day.

Oh totally, this makes me see how small habits just slowly change shape over years. Like how my post-dinner walk sometimes turns into just standing outside for five minutes, or scrolling on my phone gets replaced with flipping through a real magazine. The goal of "unplugging" stays the same, but the actual thing you do to get there keeps shifting until one day you look up and your routine is completely different.

So the goal matters more than the habit?

Seeing that "right after I log off" timing made me think. I used to have the same workout habit right after work. But over time, it morphed into just cooking dinner every night. I found that the act of cooking gave me a similar break from screen time. It's not as intense as a workout, but it still feels like a productive shift. Now my evenings are more about kitchen time than gym time, and I'm okay with that.
