Camping with friends and still hitting my daily exercises
Just returned from a weekend in the woods... and I managed to stick to my workout plan the whole time. I thought traveling would make it too easy to skip sessions with no equipment around. But I packed light with just a resistance band and relied on bodyweight moves like lunges and planks. Each morning, I rolled out my mat near the tent and got moving as the sun came up. Feeling the cool breeze and hearing birds while exercising was a nice change from my usual spot. It showed me that keeping fit doesn't need a fancy setup or perfect conditions. Now I'm feeling pretty good about staying active on future trips too.

Totally get what you mean about bugs, @grant.margaret. Pushing through small stuff like that shows how we can keep good habits going even when things aren't perfect!

Morning workouts with that cool breeze must have been a nice change from gym air conditioning. Did you find any particular bodyweight move more effective outdoors, or was it mostly about consistency? I tried camping once and gave up on exercise after the first day because mosquitoes. How did you deal with bugs or uneven ground?

Honestly that line about mosquitoes made me laugh because I used to be the same way. I always thought outdoor workouts were just for people who liked making things harder for themselves. Tbh doing push ups on grass changed my mind, the ground gives a little so it feels easier on my wrists. For bugs I just use a ton of spray and pick a spot away from bushes, and uneven ground actually helps your balance after a while. Ngl consistency is easier out there because it just feels more like playing than working out.
