Actually, my friend had a thing like that with her French press. She got super into the whole timing and process, and it totally bled into how she ran her weekly team check-ins. She said the patience for the coffee to brew made her way less rushed in meetings, letting people actually finish their points. Tbh, she's way less stressed now because she built in that slow-down time on purpose.

So what's next, my toaster oven teaching me conflict resolution. Guess I need to buy a fancy kettle to finally hit my deadlines. It's wild how we turn kitchen gadgets into life coaches.
