Why does nobody talk about the Apostle Islands sea caves? I was convinced they were just rocks.

I saw pictures online and thought it was another overhyped natural spot. Then I kayaked there last summer and the colors inside the caves were unreal, like neon blue. A guide explained how the light filters through the water, and it completely shifted my opinion. Now I'm curious why more adventurers don't add it to their list.

But what actually makes them epic in person? Is it the scale or something about the atmosphere photos just miss?

Lame photos" is right, my own boring vacation pics are why my friends never visit (I can't blame them).
